If it is a part problem, we will mail (express transportation) new parts for replacement free of charge(we will provide 5-6 additional spare parts in the packaging of all products). We received these in perfect condition. The alabaster is almost white when the light is off, but has a lovely glow when lit. We are both getting on in years so we had our handyman install them for us. He had no trouble at all. They were a bit pricey but in my opinion well worth it!
